ValueClick’s Commission Junction online marketing division has set up shop in Germany, the company announced at the Ad:Tech show in New York today.
In fact, the German client services team for CJ has already made inroads into the German market—the largest in Europe by gross domestic product-- for clients Citibank, Expedia, T-Mobile and Swarovski.
The new Commission Junction operation joins three other ValueClick business lines now operating in Germany: the media division, the Pricerunner.com comparison shopping site, and the Mediaplex ad-serving business. Commission Junction debuted a U.K. division in 2001.
Along with the expansion, Commission Junction has launched a German interface for CJ Marketplace, its global network. The new interface will allow local German advertisers and publishers to work in their native language and make deals in their own currency.
