Direct marketing services provider CMS has acquired BMA, a direct mail and fulfillment house. Terms of the acquisition were not announced.
The acquisition brings together two long-term corporate partners. BMA, which was founded in 1983, provides data processing, lettershop, fulfillment and off-set printing services, as well as postal procedure and classification consultative services.
CMS’s offerings include content and advanced data processing, laser personalization, letter shop and postal optimization.
“Smart, strategic growth, such as the acquisition of BMA, adds not only capacity, but customer service, marketing and leadership,” Steve Linsenmeyer, President and CEO of CMS Group said in a statement. “CMS is fortunate to have the professional, service-focused team from BMA join the team.”
The CMS Group owns and operates Corporate Mailing Services, Inc. (CMS), Management ReSource Services, LLC (MRS), Incentums.com and Bulk Mailing & Addressing (BMA).
Separately, Pursuant Group, a fundraising and marketing communications organization that serves nonprofit clients, has acquired the assets, including clients and service contracts, of R3 Strategies. R3 serves media ministries, mission agencies and other faith-based clients by providing site deployment, online production and campaign strategy services.
Chuck Anderson, principal of R3 has joined The Pursuant Group on as the senior VP of strategic services, and Rebecca Gregory has joined as VP of strategic ministry development.
At Pursuant, Amderson will manage strategic services that include technology deployment and virtual administration for Pursuant clients across vertical markets and technology platforms. He will also continue to strategically counsel R3's current clients.
Gregory will lead the development strategy in the parachurch ministry market. Primarily, she will focus on business development, managing partnerships, consulting and working with Pursuant’s sales team to develop new service offerings, and identifying and cultivating new client prospects.
R3's clients include Precept Ministries International, MarriageToday, Messianic Jewish Alliance of America, Jewish Voice Ministries, Frontiers, Awana International, World Missionary Evangelism, World Bible Translation Center and ScreamFree Institute.
