(Catalog Age) Black Box Corp., which sells computer networking products and services in more than 100 nations, has opened a Danish subsidiary and acquired the operations of its distribution partner in Denmark.
Black Box Denmark, which is expected to generate about $3 million a year in revenue, will serve Denmark, Iceland and Greenland.
Norbert Ramondt, director of European operations for Black Box Corp., said in a statement that the firm now has "complete phone services coverage through Black Box subsidiary operations in all of Western Europe."
In addition, the Pittsburgh-based company announced that it is merging with TW Netwerkzservice gmbh, a $1 million supplier of cabling services based in Ramerberg, Germany.
