Ask Jeeves, Inc., Oakland, CA, has named Dominic Butera CFO and Dan Caul general counsel. Both will start their positions with the online search and marketing firm immediately.
Butera held senior financial positions with several Bay Area companies including Ocular Sciences, Inc., Innoventry, InterMap technologies, Inc., and IDG Books Worldwide. He succeeds Steve Sordello, who served as Ask Jeeves' CFO for the past five years.
Dan Caul, who had been the firm’s associate general counsel, replaces Brett Robertson as Ask Jeeves' general counsel.
