Advo Inc.’s board has elected Scott Harding chief executive officer. Harding will also join the company’s boards of directors. Both appointments are effective Oct. 15.
Harding co-founded Newspaper Services of America (NSA) in 1991, and has served as the company’s chairman and chief executive officer since. In 1995, NSA was sold to the Interpublic Group of Companies.
The search had been led by Bobbie Gaunt, who has served as Advo’s interim CEO since June. Former CEO Gary Mulloy stepped down from his post in June. Gaunt will return to her position as an independent director on Advo’s board on Oct. 15.
