Customer relationship marketing agency Merkle has launched a new market research practice. The new practice is part of Merkle’s Quantitative Solutions Group, which provides analytical insight for measurable marketing programs.
The new unit will specialize in ascertaining how consumer beliefs and attitudes shape purchasing and engagement decisions. Christine Baskin has been hired to lead the practice in the role of VP of market research.
Baskin joins Merkle from market research firm BioVid, where she managed a team of research professionals providing complex quantitative knowledge for pharmaceutical and biotech clients. Previously, Baskin held senior positions at TNS Healthcare, Yankelovich and Knowledge Networks.
