First Data Corp. has appointed Joe Forehand chairman and interim chief executive officer (CEO).
He succeeds Michael Capellas who becomes senior advisor at KKR.
Forehand, currently a member of First Data’s board of directors and a senior advisor at KKR, was most recently chairman and CEO of Accenture where he spent 34 years of his career. Forehand served as Accenture’s CEO from Nov. 1999 to Aug. 2004 and as Accenture’s chairman from 2001 to 2006.
