Acxiom Corp. announced at the end of the business day on Monday that it had acquired the list brokerage and compiled data sales divisions of MKTG Services. The deal closed on Nov. 9 for an undisclosed price.
MKTG Services' management team led by senior vice president Stacey Girt have joined Acxiom and the sales staff at MKTG will remain intact.
"MKTG Services not only compiles data, but also develops new marketing solutions that will complement Acxiom's existing capacities," said in a statement Alex Dietz, Acxiom's information products division leader.
