Online privacy seal concern TRUSTe announced this week that Yesmail will become the first company to resell TRUSTe web privacy seals.
The program makes it easier for Yesmail customers to have their web privacy practices reviewed and certified by eliminating duplication of effort and the number of relationships the Website must manage, the two organizations said in a statement.
Starting immediately, customers will be able to begin applying for TRUSTe certification through Yesmail.
"Our goal is always to increase and validate good privacy practices," said Fran Maier, executive director of TRUSTe, in a statement. "This will encourage more sites to participate in the web privacy seal program and provide a broader, stronger foundation for consumers' trust in the Internet."
