Credit-reporting firm Equifax has chosen StrongMail’s insourcing technology to drive its e-mail marketing, the two companies announced today.
Previously, Equifax used a custom-built system for its marketing e-mail, according to the announcement.
“By implementing StrongMail, we now have a powerful and flexible e-mail platform that cost-effectively improves deliverability rates, facilitates data integration and ensures the security of our extensive proprietary information,” said Michael Hall, senior vice president and general manager, Equifax Marketing Services, in a statement.
The announcement comes on the heels of a year during which StrongMail claimed it signed a record number of new customers, including Travelocity, Rawlings Gear, ADP Dealer Services, Baby Center, McAfee and Sony Online Entertainment.
In October StrongMail cut 25% of its staff, or between 25 and 30 people.
