E-mail service provider iPost today announced it has launched Autotarget predictive analytic technology.
The data-modeling technology analyzes customer information from companies’ various sales channels and segments them into so-called “personas,” or segments of like-minded potential buyers, according to iPost. It lets marketers send targeted emails to those specific personas to improve e-mail engagement, profitability and retention, the company said in a statement
“According to the recent Jupiter Research Email Service Provider Evaluation, the No. 1 feature that e-mail marketers want in their products is ease of use,” said Russell McDonald, CEO of iPost, in the release. “We at iPost have always understood that, and despite its sophistication, Autotarget is a very easy to use tool.”
Autotarget allows e-mail marketers to gain real-time, actionable insight from the customer behavior data that accumulates in their purchase databases, the company stated.
