CheetahMail, an e-mail marketing unit of Experian, has named Steve Lomax European managing director. Lomax had previously been managing director of ClarityBlue, another Experian company.
In his new position, Lomax will be responsible for increasing CheetahMail's UK, Ireland and Dutch businesses. He will also aid the growth of Emailing Solution, a French e-mail marketing firm Experian acquired in May, and will assist in integrating Emailing Solution into CheetahMail.
Before joining ClarityBlue in 2004, Lomax had been with KPMG Consulting, where as a partner he was responsible for the firm's customer management and marketing services across Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific regions.
