The Inter/Media Group of Cos. has named Robert Yallen chief executive officer.He moved up from president and chief operating officer where he has served for the past 10 years.
He replaces his father and company founder Sydney Yallen who passed away in February.

Robert Yallen first began working for Inter/Media in 1981 while attending Southwestern University School of Law.
In 1985 was admitted to the state and federal bars of California. Specializing in entertainment, advertising and business law, he initially worked as an associate for a small law firm.
But with Inter/Media poised to grow, he was lured back to rejoin the company later that year.
