Yankee Candle Co. Inc. posted net income of $39 million for the fourth quarter, a decrease from $52.3 million in the prior year.
The South Deerfield, MA firm reported revenue of $284.7 million for the quarter ended Dec. 31, a 2.5% increase over revenue of $277.8 million the last year.
Management attributed these results primarily to revenue generated in new stores, from European operations, the acquisition of Illuminations in July 2006 and from its our fundraising business.
