UMarketing, a multi-channel marketing services provider, has acquired tenthirty, an advertising agency based in Chicago. The purchase amount was under $1 million, according to UMarketing COO Ken Lomasney.
The tenthirty brand will be subsumed into UMarketing. Nancy Mehlman, the company’s owner and president, will be staying with the acquiring company as vice president of client services.
The acquisition adds all of tenthirty’s eight employees to UMarketing’s payroll. UMarketing is also keeping tenthirty’s location in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood.
The acquisition was made by Wiedemann & Lomasney, a marketing services holding company that is the titular owner of UMarketing, LLC. With the acquisition, UMarketing now has four locations: Chicago and Lombard, Illinois; Columbus, Ohio; and New York, New York.
Tenthirty’s clientele includes a number of firms in the financial services segment. Clients include First National Bank of Omaha, Allstate and Visa Its creative efforts incorporate branding, general advertising and direct marketing in all media, and extend both to consumer and business-to-business markets.
