Story Worldwide has acquired Byte Interactive LLC for undisclosed terms. The combined agencies employ more than 160 people in Seattle, New York, South Norwalk, CT and London.
Kirk Cheyfitz will retain the position of CEO of Story Worldwide. Michael LeBeau, founder and CEO of Byte Interactive has been named chief marketing officer at Story Worldwide.
"This new structure will more effectively engage the consumer with brand through interaction," LeBeau said in a statement.
A private equity firm Seaport Capital provided equity financing for the transaction.
