Morlex Inc., a marketer of financial newsletters and Web sites, has bought Ad Authority Inc., an online lead generation company, for more than $8 million in cash and stock.
Specifically, this acquisition included $3.5 million in cash, 6.5 million shares of Morlex common stock and a $4.5 million secured note to Iakona Inc., a company owned by Jason Kulpa, Ad Authority's CEO who becomes CEO of Morlex following the acquisition.
