The U.S. Postal Service has named Joseph Corbett chief financial officer and executive vice president.
He replaces H. Glen Walker who will be moving on to a new, yet to be named, role in the Postal Service.
Corbett will be responsible for the USPS’s finance, treasury and supply management activities. He starts Feb.2.
Most recently, Corbett was president and managing director of FinSol, finance and accounting consulting business he founded in 2005. He also served as senior manager at accounting firm KPMG, where he began his professional career.
He has also served as director of internal audit at NVR, controller, chief accounting officer and chief financial officer at Intelsat Ltd. and chief accounting officer and chief financial officer at BearingPoint.
