McCallum Print Group has completed its acquisition of the graphic assets, clients, programs and equipment of ESP Printing & Mailing. ESP offers heatset and narrow web commercial and publication print production. Acquisition terms were not disclosed.
“The new equipment will enhance our capabilities on larger scale commercial and direct mail print production. A significant new offering will be the wide variety of inline finishing techniques including inline flood and spot UV coating on the entire web, as well as inline folding, gluing, perforating and sheeting,” said Terry Storms, CEO and principal at McCallum Print Group, in a statement.
ESP’s 30,000 square foot Kent, WA facility will serve as McCallum Print Group’s web printing operation, supporting its 85,000 square foot Seattle production facility which will continue to provide prepress services, digital and sheetfed print production, envelope manufacturing and bindery.
McCallum Print Group, part of Direct Connect Group, a national marketing service organization, offers integrated direct marketing services including high quality sheet-fed and web offset print production, digital print production, envelope manufacturing, database management, mailing, distribution, assembly and fulfillment.
