Qualifications:

- 5-7 years direct marketing art direction with an emphasis on consumer catalogs
- Solid understanding of consumer direct marketing strategy
- Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have proven management and supervisory skills
- Undergraduate degree in Graphic Design
- Working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Home decor background a plus
Job responsibilities:
- Establish and ensure artistic integrity of catalog/direct mail department
- Lead the creative team, including copywriters, artists, and project managers
- Work closely with buyers to refine product presentation and coordinate schedules
- Oversee quality control standards for workflow, electronic files, proofing, printing, and press checks
- Establish procedures to streamline workflow and enhance productivity
- Participate in the establishment of catalog photography priorities and scheduling
