CEO CMI Charlie Horsey Steps Down

Charlie Horsey, CEO of New York City-based promotion and event marketing firm CMI, will resign his position effective Aug. 31.

His decision was based on the needs of his growing young family, a company spokesperson said in a statement.

Lee Heffernan, president of CMI's Atlanta office, has been named as Horsey's replacement. He will continue to work in Atlanta. Mark Kirby has been promoted from senior VP-client management to president of CMI's New York office.

CMI is a division of Clear Channel.
