The Yankee Candle Company Inc. has appointed Michael Archbold to its board of directors. Archbold is the executive vice president and chief financial officer of AutoZone, an automotive parts and accessories retailers. Archbold replaces Robert R. Spellment, who resigned from the 11-person board.
