World Wrestling Entertainment and Gold’s Gym are pumping up WWE’s annual SummerSlam pay-per-view event with an online sweepstakes.
The Road to SummerSlam Sweepstakes will give one grand-prize winner a trip for two to the live event on Aug. 26 at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, NJ, and $250 in spending money. Five additional winners will each receive $25 in WWE merchandise and a $25 Gold’s Gym equipment certificate.
The sweepstakes at GoldsGym.com runs through Aug. 15. The site will also carry video of WWE performers Marcus Cor Von and Torrie Wilson offering fitness tips. On-location signage will promote the contest at 500 Gold’s Gym locations nationwide.
The promotion is part of a larger seasonal WWE promotion, WWE’s Biggest Party of the Summer, which includes appearances by WWE stars and divas at amusement parks, concerts and other events.
NMA Entertainment & Marketing helped to create the campaign, and will execute the sweepstakes.
