Williams-Sonoma Inc. posted net income of $26 million for the second quarter, a 27% drop from net income of $35.6 million in the prior year.
The cataloger and retailer reported net revenue of $859.4 million for the quarter ended July 29, a 4% increase over $825.5 million last year.
The San Francisco firm posted direct marketing revenue of $372.4 million for the quarter, a 2.8% increase over $362.2 million in the prior year.
The company attributed this to increases in net revenues generated in the West Elm, PBteen, Williams-Sonoma and Williams-Sonoma Home brands.
