The Chicago Association of Direct Marketing has created the Pat Wheelless Award for Mentoring. Wheelless will be the first recipient, in a ceremony scheduled for later this year.
A CADM past president (1996-97), Wheelless has volunteered in practically every corner of the association, as well as in the CADM Educational Foundation. She and her husband, Herb, have retired to Ajijic, Mexico.
Her firm, The Wheelless Group, has been acquired by executive vice president Neysa Bennett. The new company is called Wheelless/Bennett Group, Ltd. Bennett will be president and Wheelless will serve as a consultant.
