Visa USA wants to make a young inventor’s dream come true with a national skills contest dubbed Ideas Happen.
Through May 23, consumers ages 18-29 can pitch a unique idea (entrepreneurial, community-related or personal dream) for the chance to win $25,000 to help make that idea a reality.
Contestants can enter at www.ideashappen.com. The promotion is sponsored by MSN, which also hosts the Web site.
A panel of judges, including music producer Quincy Jones and Brian Jones, a member of the first team to circumnavigate the globe in a balloon, will narrow the field to 10 finalists. From June 9 through June 30, the public can cast their votes at the Web site to determine the four winners.
