TransFirst, Inc. has acquired DPI Merchant Services, a domestic mail order and Internet payment processor based in Omaha, NE. Terms of the acquisition were not announced.
DPI Merchant Services employs 89 workers in offices located in Houston; Tempe, AZ; Phoenix, AZ; Denver and San Diego.
TransFirst, Boulder City, CO offers transaction processing services and payment technologies. TransFirst reported more than $3 billion in processing volume last year. DPI Merchant Services reported $850 million in processing volume. DPI currently handles processing for more than 1,500 direct marketing and e-commerce merchants.
