TracyLocke has promoted Al Witteman to the new post of managing director-retail strategy, as the agency expands its retail marketing capabilities.
In his new role, Witteman will oversee TracyLocke’s retail and shopper marketing work.
“He will help us create best-in-class retail marketing and shopper marketing resources, and assemble true end-to-end retail capabilities for our clients and our account teams,” said TracyLocke CEO Ron Askew, who calls Witteman “a retail czar.”
Witteman joined TracyLocke in June 2004 as director of retail strategy, and earlier was founder of retail branding agency Retail Performance Group. He took his new post in early January.
Omnicom-owned TracyLocke ranked No. 7 in the 2005 PROMO 100 with estimated 2004 net revenues of $96 million, up an estimated 27%.
