TowerData Inc. of New York has received a U.S. patent for its e-mail change of address (ECOA) service.
Rather than rely on consumers to voluntary provide change of e-mail address information, TowerData’s service updates e-mail addresses by drawing on customer relationship information found in consumer databases.
TowerData’s technology and methodology tripled the number of e-mail addresses that could be updated using information found in consumer databases, according to the company.
