Tabasco is making it even easier for consumers to try its Pepper Sauce, offering a sample on pizza boxes from “several thousand” pizzerias.
Bright-colored flyers appear on the boxes with a $1 off coupon for the purchase of a 5-ounce bottle of Original Tabasco Pepper Sauce.
The promotion timed around the Feb. 1 Super Bowl, beginning today and running through Feb. 15.
Pizza box advertiser Mangia Media is handling the promo.
“Providing samples at the point of trial to millions of pizza eaters in a shared environment will build tremendous buzz, and using independent pizzerias to distribute the boxes opens a whole new world of use,” Mangia Media’s President Eric Cohen said in a release.
The Tabasco campaign was designed by Tracy Locke, Dallas and managed by outdoor media specialist OOH Pitch.
