Subscription Sales Drive Growth at InfoUSA

InfoUSA the database products and services giant reported a 12% increase in revenues to $93.7 million during the second quarter of this year, compared to the same quarter last year, which was driven in part by increased data subscription sales.

“Our strategy of migrating small business customers from one-time purchases of sales leads to a subscription based service will be a gradual process, but a key growth driver for infoUSA,” said Vin Gupta in a prepared statement, chairman and CEO of infoUSA.

The company reported $188.8 million in revenues for the first half of 2005, reflecting a 15% increase in comparison to the first half of 2004.
