SlideShare Gets Friendlier for Content Marketers by Introducing an Optimized Infographics Player

Infographics are, for better or worse, all over the Web these days. They offer marketers a visually charged way to quickly and simply convey loads of information, a boon in this era of content marketing, all things images and short attention spans. So it’s not surprising that SlideShare, owned by content-focused LinkedIn, has announced a new infographics player.

Users familiar with SlideShare will notice that the new optimized infographics player isn’t too different from the traditional presentation-based format. Infographics can be shared to social platforms from the player, and users can copy embed code to place it on another site, like this:

If you upload an infographic to SlideShare, you’ll be able to see how many views, downloads and embeds it gets. However, if you want to see graphs and drill down on data, you’ll need to upgrade to SlideShare PRO.
