Six Flags has signed a marketing deal with Johnny Rockets restaurants that will let the company open eateries at its theme parks.
Under the relationship, Johnny Rockets will become a Six Flags Corporate Alliance Partner and pay the theme park an annual sponsorship fee. Terms were not disclosed.
The two companies will also work on joint marketing and promotional initiatives under the multi-year deal, which will be featured at more than 200 restaurants nationwide. That includes offering Six Flags coupons in Johnny Rockets restaurants, Six Flags’ branding on the kids activity menus and Web site and e-mail advertising.
The agreement is designed to improve guests’ in-park experience, the company said.
“We believe this will in turn drive both greater in-park spending and increased guest satisfaction,” said Mark Shapiro, Six Flags president and chief executive officer, in a statement.
Six Flags has formed a number of alliances with other top brands, including Sara Lee, Nintendo, Cold Stone Creamery, Heinz and Kodak.
