Autobytel.com, Irvine, CA, has established a new position, director of database marketing, and selected Craig Ima to fill it. Ima had been director of marketing for Automotive Information Services at Experian.

Enews.com (http://www.enews.com), Washington, DC, which offers subscriptions to more than 700 major magazine titles, has named Jaclyn S. Bovarnick as the company’s new director of product marketing. Bovarnick joins the company from US News & World Report.

Boston-based Pohly & Partners (formerly Cadmus Custom Publishing) has been selected by Whole Foods Markets Inc. to produce a custom publication targeted for sale to consumers. The publication, titled Flavors, is a lifestyle/recipe magazine that will be available at Whole Foods Markets’ natural and organic supermarkets in 21 states.

The Chicago Association of Direct Marketing’s Direct From the Heart Committee and Chicago Philanthropy Magazine have joined to present the first “Direct Marketing for Nonprofits” seminar on Tuesday, June 29, in the Kanter Center of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, from 8 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and repeated from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The seminar will explore direct marketing techniques for fundraising.
