USA Broadcasting, New York, appointed Tim Peterman Chief Financial Officer. He had been Director of Finance for Sinclair Communications. USA Broadcasting includes USA Networks, the parent company Ticketmaster, Home Shopping Network, and Internet Shopping Network.

AM/Direct, the alternative media division of Millard Group Inc., Peterborough, NH, has been named advertising representative for Pulse E-Mail Newsletter Network (PENN), a division of Pulse International LLC. PENN delivers text ads to individuals who have requested to receive one or more of the network publications. Categories for the newsletters include: crafts & hobbies, sports, technology, humor/entertainment, non-fiction/information.

The Addressable Advertising Coalition has joined forces with the Association for Interactive Media (AIM) to create a new group designed to foster growth in interactive media. The AAC will operate as a co-organization within AIM, which is headed by Ben Isaacson, acting executive director of AIM. Art Cohen will serve as chairman of the AAC.
