Vanessa Castagna has been named J. Co. Penney Corp.’s executive vice president, chairman and CEO of JCPenney Stores, catalog and Internet. The position is newly created. J.C. Penney Corp. is based in Plano, TX.
Network Commerce appointed Scott Dickson acting chief executive officer after Dwayne Walker resigned as CEO Thursday. Walker will retain his position as chairman of the company, as well as his seat on its board of directors. Dickson has been Network Commerce’s chief financial officer since July 2001. Network Commerce, Seattle, provides technology infrastructure and services.
