Travelocity has opened a number of travel stores online. The targeted one-stop shops include information and travel deals for ski travel, weekend escapes, trips to the Caribbean and Mexico, Las Vegas and casinos, Hawaii and Florida. The stores will vary with the seasons.
Valentine J. Zammit has been appointed to the board of directors of New York-based 24/7 Real Media Inc. He will serve as chairman of it s audit committee. A veteran of the advertising industry, Zammit had been CEO of True North Diversified Cos. from 1988 to 2002 and was CFO of Bozell, Jacobs, Kenyon & Eckhardt from 1978 to 1988. He has also held positions at Price, Waterhouse.
