Petopia.com, a San Francisco-based online pet supplies retailer, has added two sections to its Web site that offer specialized information to pet owners. Its new Behavior Solutions Center offers training help and resources to pet owners, with an eye toward cutting down returns of pets to animal shelters.
The sites new travel center, which is geared toward the 50% of pet owners that travel with their pets, provides information and products for the safe transport of pets. A “Pet Finder Services” database offers access to 60,000 pet services across the country.
Through the use of these and other information-based resources, Petopia.com hopes to increase customer satisfaction levels and reduce return rates.
