Six Flags and Papa John’s have signed a multi-year partnership and sponsorship agreement under which the pizza chain will become a Six Flags corporate partner and the exclusive pizza at Six Flags theme parks nationwide.
Under the deal, Six Flags will provide Papa John’s with in-park branding in U.S. parks, Web-based and e-mail initiatives to Six Flag customers and in-park distribution of Papa John’s coupons and promotional items.
Terms were not disclosed.
Six Flags will sell Papa John’s pizza and related products at about 60 locations within the parks.
The agreement also calls for Papa John’s to pay an annual sponsorship fee to Six Flags. The fee was not disclosed.
Six Flags, in turn, will reach Papa John’s consumers via in-store P-O-P promotions at 1,100 Papa John’s restaurants within a 100-mile radius of a Six Flags park, summer distribution of a promotional Six Flags DVD and Web-based and e-mail co-marketing initiatives that promote Six Flags’ daily and season pass ticket sales.
