New York City-based Omnicom’s Diversified Agency Services Group has acquired Davie Brown Entertainment, a 16-year-old shop specializing in product placement whose client list includes Pepsi, Reebok, Miller Brewing, and BMW.
“Davie Brown’s unique entertainment positioning is beneficial to many new and existing Omnicom Group clients,” says DAS president Tom Harrison.
The agency’s work this summer included Pepsi’s tie-in with “Tomb Raider” and Reebok’s print link with “Planet of the Apes.”
Omnicom’s DAS division includes such other agencies as GMR Marketing, U.S. Marketing & Promotions, Alcone Marketing, Integer Group, and TLP, Inc.
