Telecommunications company Nortel Networks has promoted Clent Richardson to chief marketing officer effective Oct. 1.
Richardson, 43, will head a newly formed global marketing organization responsible for brand development and management, sponsorships, promotions, events, advertising, online presence, community relations, public relations and employee communications. He will also join the company’s global executive management strategy group.
Richardson joined Nortel Networks in April to lead enterprise global marketing. Prior to joining Nortel Networks, Richardson worked for T-Mobile as chief sales and marketing officer.
