GUESS, INC: has formed a new licensing agreement with Marc Fisher LLC to that calls to develop, manufacture and distribute athletic and fashion footwear under the Guess? trademark in the U.S. and select countries. The new footwear line is expected to launch in the fall of 2005.
OCTAGON: has been named the sponsorship agency of record for Unilever HBC and will work closely with a variety of the company’s brands. The agency’s scope of work will cover strategic planning, program development, proactive program ideation, sponsorship negotiation and activation, competitive analysis, property evaluation and proposal management.
PMA’S SOUTHWEST CHAPTER: will hold its inaugural event Jan 25. at noon at the Dallas Mavericks Practice Facility at American Airlines Center. Marketing and agency executives as well as industry suppliers are welcome. The event will provide a look inside the Dallas Mavericks organization, including a tour and Q & A session with President of Basketball Operations Donnie Nelson. Attendees will also be entered into a drawing for Mavericks tickets, and a chance to shoot at half-court for a Mavericks luxury suite for up to 32 people ($10,000 value) courtesy of SCA Promotions, Inc.
