NBC Internet Inc. (NBCi) has bought Husdawg Communications Inc., a customer relationship management service and electronic registration company geared toward the computer hardware and software industries. NBCi plans to merge the company into its NBCi Direct unit, which provides e-list management and Internet-based direct and database marketing services. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. John Hussey, Husdawg’s CEO, will remain with NBCi Direct as senior director. Plans include NBCi Direct adding its permission-based services to Husdawg’s registered user base.
