Nabisco is kicking off a holiday campaign around the art of simple entertaining at home with family and friends.
The campaign supports three cracker brands—Ritz, Triscuit and Wheat Thins—and includes a number of elements.
A recipe booklet illustrated by acclaimed artist Ron Barrett will be delivered to more than 1 million subscribers to Better Homes & Gardens, Ladies Home Journal, Country Home and other magazines with the December issue. The booklet is also available along with an animated short film.
Through Dec. 24, visitors to New York City will be able to view trailers of the film “Tale of the Magical Crackers,” on the new outdoor digital billboard above the Walgreen’s store in Times Square.
Also at the Web site, visitors can play games and find ideas for holiday entertaining, including: the Snowball Showdown, an animated multi-player snowball fight game; a Tale-o-Matic interactive story creator; the 20,000-prize Nabisco Gift Giveaway sweepstakes; holiday value ideas with tips; and a coupon and holiday recipes featuring delicious uses for Ritz, Triscuit, and Wheat Thins crackers, made by Kraft Foods.
Print ads, in-store displays and messaging and product packaging featuring the sweepstakes also support the campaign, developed by Euro RSCG New York. Additional agencies involved include Momentum WW, Starcom MediaVest Group and Digitas, among others.
