Mercy College Adds ‘Interactive’ to DM Degree Title

The New York Center for Direct & Interactive Marketing at Mercy College has added the word “interactive” to its direct-marketing masters program.

The name change, to Master of Science in Direct and Interactive Marketing, has also been approved by the New York State Department of Education, according to a statement from the school.

“Online advertising is continuing to grow at a rapid pace,” said Walter Neff, program director, in a statement. “Professionals working in this sector are beginning to look for additional educational outlets, and advanced degree programs, to keep pace with the industry and to help them in the advancement of their careers.”

According to Mercy College, its Master of Science in Direct & Interactive Marketing degree program is one of two programs in the country providing a master’s in direct marketing, and Mercy is the only program to offer the degree completely online.
