MemberWorks Inc., Stamford, CT, has acquired Quota-Phone Inc., a wholesale provider of nationwide discount shopping services, for $9.25 million in cash and stock.
Quota-Phone, White Plains, NY, will operate as an independent subsidiary of MemberWorks. It brings MemberWorks a portfolio of wholesale consumer products and services and a nationwide membership base of over three million.
“Quota-Phone fits perfectly with our strategy of delivering high-value membership-based direct marketing solutions,” MemberWorks president and CEO Gary Johnson said in a statement.
MemberWorks has about five million members enrolled in its programs, which include among them Travel Arrangements, Countrywide Dental & Health and Leisure Advantage.
