McDonald’s Corp., Oak Brook, IL, gets its summer promotions underway this week with co-branded products from General Mills and Dannon Co. and the latest Happy Meal program from its Disney alliance.
Tarrytown, NY-based Dannon supplies Danimals Drinkable Strawberry Explosion yogurt, while Minneapolis-based General Mills delivers Ronald’s Strawberry Splash Go-Gurt and Strawberry Sensation Fruit Roll-Ups. The treats will be available for 12 weeks, free with Happy Meal purchase or sold separately.
Meanwhile, Happy Meals will carry eight premiums from Burbank, CA-based Walt Disney Co.’s July 26 theatrical release “The Country Bears.” An additional prize will be attached to Happy Meal bags during the first few days of the program, which runs through Aug. 1.
