Mal Dunn Wins Disney Publishing Files

Mal Dunn Associates Inc., Croton Falls, NY, has been named the exclusive list manager for all four of the Disney publishing files. The move marks the first time the files will be managed under the direction of one company. The appointment took effect Oct. 1.

The publications are: Discover Magazine (750,000 subscribers); Disney Adventure (781,000 subscribers); Disney Magazine (118,000 subscribers) and Family fun (1 million subscribers).

Mal Dunn is also developing a Disney masterfile that will be available Oct. 15. That file will merge the four Disney publishing files into one enhanced database, Chuck Orlowski, vice president of list management for Mal Dunn, said.

Discover magazine readers are forward thinking families that turn to Discover for stories that interest their families. Subscribers are upscale homeowners with above average incomes.

L90 Direct (formerly Novus Marketing) in Valhalla, NY, had previously managed Discover and Disney Magazine while List Services Corp. in Bethel, CT, had managed Family Fun and Disney Adventures.
