Eastman Kodak struck a multi-million dollar, six-year strategic marketing deal with the Professional Golf Association Tour.
Kodak will tee off activation around the pact next year with plans for corporate hospitality and branding on PGA tournament scoreboards through the season.
Newly designed digital scoreboards will feature side panels with Kodak’s yellow and red logo. At each tournament, as many as 11 of the scoreboards will be displayed in strategic locations. They feature an active digital display on a screen that is 20 feet by 7 ½ feet.
Kodak will be host to corporate hospitality and entertainment at select tour events. Other sponsorship elements are yet to be revealed.
“As Kodak has transformed into a new company, our marketing strategy has also evolved,” said Jeffrey Hayzlett, Eastman Kodak chief business development officer and vice president, in a statement. “This is a natural fit for the Kodak brand, which is known the world over for imaging innovation.”
