The Direct Marketing Association has named Jim Kobs, chairman and CEO of Kobs Gregory Passavant, and Eddie Smith, champion of the direct marketing industry and founder of National Wholesale Co. to its hall of fame. Named posthumously is retailer and catalog pioneer Eddie Bauer (1899-1986), founder of Eddie Bauer Inc.
The three will be inducted October 26 at the organization’s Annual Conference & Exhibition in Toronto.
